If there’s anyone who can place an order and get it delivered at lightning speed, it has to be Shah Rukh Khan.

We are told the actor is the proud owner of an amazingly popular fitness machine called the Power Plate.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Shah Rukh heard about this gadget from some friends and even read about it on the internet.

As soon as he realised it was one of the most popular workout machines in the world right now, he placed an order and got it delivered from abroad.”

ICICI Bank teamed up with Khan, who has a big fan following in Britain, to launch its HiSave account that pays 5.65 percent interest on deposits of 1 pound or more.

I’m glad my kids are safe: SRK

März 18, 2007

Hab grad noch ein kleines Interview bei ibnlive.com gefunden, wo er auch nochmal kurz über die Proteste vor seinem Haus spricht.

I’m glad my kids are safe: SRKRohit Khilnani
CNN-IBN

Posted Sunday , March 18, 2007 at 14:33Updated Sunday , March 18, 2007 at 15:13Mumbai:
Shah Rukh Khan and Amar Singh’s feud made headlines in the past few weeks with the actor calling the Samajwadi Party General Secretary a darinda (devil), at the Filmfare Awards function recently. The actor was promoting a watch brand in Mumbai, and CNN-IBN caught up with him about the protests outside his house.
Rohit Khilnani: It’s always great interviewing Shah Rukh Khan since he has an answer to every question. So you are comfortable giving interviews, right?
Shah Rukh Khan: Yes, I’m good doing interviews.
Rohit Khilnani: You have taken the brand TAG forward, it was a part of Don and Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
Shah Rukh Khan: Normally, when I endorse something, I do end up having a liking for it. On KBC, it’s not a marketing gimmick. I give watches I wear on the days I feel like giving them away.
Rohit Khilnani: You are a family man and there were protests outside your house. Weren’t you scared?
Shah Rukh Khan: It happened a while ago and I’ve said whatever I had to say about it. I think everyone understands my state of mind. I am not someone who reacts to what people say. It’s been years since I realised that I will be spoken about, good, bad or ugly. So if I react to it, I would be spending my whole day on it. Yes, I do react to the safety of my kids. I’m glad they are safe and it’s my duty to keep them safe.

Das Video kann man sich hier angucken

(Und diesem Amar Singh wünsch ich alles nur nix gutes…..)

„You don’t make my children cry“ – SRK

März 18, 2007

Hier ein ziemlich interessantes und langes Interview mit Shahrukh von miday.

3 hrs with SRK-interview with mid-day.com
Three hours with Shah Rukh Khan
By: Sarita Tanwar
March 16, 2007

It’s not easy to pin down Shah Rukh Khan. But because he makes such exciting copy, you want to go that extra step. He’s on my mind as I head to Film City.

He’s also on the mind of the cab driver in front of my car, judging by the huge sticker on his cab’s rear windshield that screams the actor’s name in bold letters.

At the end of the marathon interview that begins in SRK’s van (on the sets on Om Shanti Om) and concludes at his mansion in Bandra (close to dinnertime), I discover varied facets to the ‘Demented Pathan’, as he likes to call himself.

He’s as normal as the friendly guy next door, but the only difference is that SRK looks 15 years younger than his actual age. He’s also a proud and protective papa, ready to spring like a lion if you offend his babies.

I watch him as he instructs his driver to halt the white and black BMW at the corner of the road to pick up a helmet for his son.

I watch him as he plays with his dogs when he reaches home, looking lost because Gauri and the kids are out for the evening.

And then I see him as the undisputable people’s superstar when he steps out on the bungalow’s terrace to wave out to numerous fans standing outside.
The best part about SRK is that he has no boundaries.

‘Ask me anything, and I will answer’, is his motto. In the end, as I drive back home, I realise that when he is charming you for three hours — be it on the big screen or in person — he is at his very best right till the last byte.

Liquor brand puts SRK on new high

März 17, 2007

Shahrukh wird nun Werbung für Masterstroke machen. Ob das allen gefällt ist fraglich. Ob er nun für die CD´s oder den Alkohol Werbung macht auch. Naja abwarten.

Liquor brand puts SRK on new high

TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 2007

BANGALORE: Unveiling one of the biggest endorsement deals in the alcoholic beverage industry, the recently-floated Diageo-Radico joint venture has roped in Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador for its first offering Masterstroke deluxe whisky.

This is Shah Rukh’s first endorsement deal in the liquordom after he emerged on top of Bollywood. The equal JV company, Diageo Radico Distilleries Pvt Ltd, is expected to pour out around Rs 20 crore including Mr Khan’s endorsement fee, sources said. “We are confident that this will be the biggest brand roll out in the Indian spirits industry in recent times.

We will be supporting the endorsement deal with enough resources for leveraging Shah Rukh on multiple platforms,” said Radico Khaitan MD Abhishek Khaitan. For the record, the ban on liquor advertising would see Shah Rukh endorsing Masterstoke music CDs.

Masterstroke, priced between established whiskies like Royal Challenge and Royal Stag, marks Diageo’s return to the Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) market. The brand is being rolled out under the supervision of Johnnie Walker master distiller Peter Warren.

Diageo India MD Asif Adil said the decision to bring in Shah Rukh was backed by commissioned independent market research. “Shah Rukh is a masterstroke just like our brand. He represents a new India, full of hope.

We hope he will help us to connect with today’s India,” he added. He said the brand in its initial days has evoked a good response, especially in terms of the reaction to the blend, and the national roll out would be completed over a three-month period.

The deal for Masterstroke with Shah Rukh Khan was finalised in association with Carving Dreams Entertainment Pvt Ltd headed by Mr Bunty Bahl. As brand ambassador, the celebrated actor will play a key role in brand and product communication on television, in print and outdoor media.

In context, it must be mentioned that market leader United Spirits has used Bollywood stars over the years in developing some of its iconic brands, especially Bagpiper. This brand has seen endorsements from the likes of Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan.
